PhotoRed – 2nd Polish Norwegian Scientific Symposium, October 18-21, 2022
Our guests were project partners from University of South-Eastern Norway, SINTEF Industry, and SINTEF Ocean, Norway. On the sessions, speakers from both countries presented the results of their research.
On the first day of the symposium, the tasks performed at our University were discussed. We presented the results of research on the preparation and characterization of photocatalysts, and the processes of photocatalytic reduction of CO2 with synthesized materials.
We spent the second day in the beautiful surroundings of the Turnau Vineyard in Baniewice, where we discussed the workpackages which are carried out in Norway, including photoelectrochemical processes with the use of materials prepared at our department or their impact on the natural environment.
As a part of the meeting, we also visited undergrounds of Szczecin, where tourist routes are located in the largest civil shelter in Poland.
We would like to thank our partners from Norway for visiting us and we look forward to the next meeting!
